    While I was back in Los Angeles last month, Beatrice Valenzuela, a champion for the Echo Park creative community, opened her debut flagship store at 1547 Echo Park Ave. Beatrice has been a part of the Echo Park community for ten years as a stylist and designer and is responsible for initiating the Echo Park Craft Fair which began the Los Angeles trend of a curated pop up featuring artisanal products from LA’s creative east side community. Beatrice is known greatly for her eponymous line of shoes for men, women and children that take its inspiration from ancient footwear and the traditional styles of her native country of Mexico.
