Right before I moved to New Orleans I worked on a styling job that was pretty special so I wanted to share it with you. Bauble Bar is an online jewelry and accessory company from NYC that came to Austin, TX to shoot a special friend of the company for their “Guest Bartender” story that they feature monthly. For this special series they chose Megan Runser as their guest bartender, a beautiful woman fighting Leukemia who got in touch with the company to express her dream of being a Guest Bartender on their website. Megan reached out to Bauble Bar never thinking that her dream would actually come true. Well, this life-threatening cancer had hit one of the owners close to home, so the company decided to make Megan’s dream come true.

  2. FEATHERS BOUTIQUE SUMMER EDITORIAL

    FEATHERS5

Since my move to Texas I’ve been working with Austin’s Feathers Boutique on many different levels including merchandising direction, social media, styling and brand strategy. For the last few months we have been working hard on their e-commerce website and giving it a different look. I created the style for the shoot incorporating pieces from co-owner Emily Hoover’s amazing closet as well as my personal collection and vintage items from the store. I’m very happy with how it turned out and I wanted to share it with you.

  3. STASH CO’S TEXAS MAKERS EVENT

    IMG_82082

This past Saturday was magic. After a few months of organizing, coordinating and wrangling, Stash Co hosted a very special event that celebrated a select group of very special Texas Makers. When I first started working with Stash Co, we both had a vision of bringing together other creative custom makers in Texas and forming a community and platform for collaboration. Our first jaunt at this took place this past weekend at The Stash Factory, in Sealy, Tx where Stash does their production. Open up and take a look at the magical day…

Screen shot 2014-05-06 at 11.01.14 AM

For the last month, I’ve been working with Stash Co on curating their new brick and mortar store in the West Ave Shopping Center in the heart of River Oaks, Houston. The store is a great showcase to represent the full Stash lifestyle with a very unique aesthetic that is certainly one of a kind. I have loved working on this project and the process of bringing together artists that I love and admire has been very inspiring to me.

  6. INTRODUCING: THE SKIN SESSIONS

    IMG_0241

I went to NYC a few weeks ago to work with one of my clients and style her brand campaign for the launch of her new leather collection, The Skin Sessions. I’ve been working with creator, Dara Schlissel on her creative strategy for the past several months and it was so fantastic to be able to help her concept and style this campaign. The photos shown here are stills from the video that we shot that she will be launching and presenting to the media in the coming month. I am so excited to see the final cut of the video as I was thrilled with how the photographs turned out for the lookbook.

  7. FEATHERS BOUTIQUE EDITORIAL

Since I’ve been in Austin I’ve been working with one of my favorite vintage stores in the country, Feathers Boutique on South Congress. I’ve been a friend of this store for the last few years and am really excited to have been brought in by the owners to help them with their creative strategy. The Feathers team is so creative and energetic and its been so much fun getting started on all of our projects together. We are shooting editorials weekly for their blog and this week I had a good time creating the styling with photographer, Katy Shayne. I quickly learned the difference between shooting in Los Angeles and Austin as we literally walked across the street for our chosen set: a horse trailer attached to a vintage Ford truck in the neighbors yard.
