Aspire To Inspire

SOUND: THRONE “THARSIS SLEEPS”

Most that know me are aware that I am not the biggest Heavy Metal fan when it comes to music. Don’t get me wrong, I love to rock out, but not as much to the heavier stuff. However, in the case of this video produced and directed by Nicos Livesy for the band Throne, I am wildly inspired.

Take a look and prepare to be amazed.

This video for their stoner doom track ‘Tharis Sleeps’ was created using 3,500 hand-drawn frames, 250 square metres of denim, 12 million stitches, 40 days of animation, 1,800 hours of digitizing, 3,500 hours of embroidering, and 500 hours of capturing. WOW.

Using denim donated by the leading Turkish mill, Orta, industrial machines provided by Brother Sewing UK and thread from Maderia Threads, this amazing masterpiece was created.
