  3. GARZA FURNITURE DESIGN: MARFA,TX

    I had the chance to check out one of Marfa’s great creative duo’s work this past weekend for the first time at Jamey and Constance Garza’s Furniture studio. The couple have been living in Marfa for ten years since their move from Los Angeles and Jamey’s designs are what created the interiors at two of Bunkhouse’s hotels: Marfa’s Thunderbird Hotel and Austin’s Hotel San Jose.

  4. A MARFA BIRTHDAY

    This past weekend I passed thru another birthday, this time choosing to celebrate the year in one of my favorite new getaway spots: Marfa, TX. Since first visiting on my road trip to Texas last May, I’ve visited it a few more times and I’m officially a big fan of everything this charming West Texas town offers. It’s all about the simple things in Marfa and the landscape and architecture seem to continually put you at ease as you move through the town. I can feel the city off my back the minute I arrive, and then the dreaminess begins.
