I’ve been traveling the last two weeks to NYC and LA and the whirlwind has finally brought me back to Austin. Both trips were inspiring on many levels and I will reveal some of my experiences in the next week to you.
The most inspiring time during my trip to LA was my visit to Rin Tanaka’s Inspiration show held in downtown Los Angeles at the California mart.
First of all, I’ve never seen so many good looking and well dressed men in one place in my entire life. It was fantastic, quite like a dream actually. And then there were Japanese men everywhere sporting their amazing style inspired by the Cali/Southwest lifestyle. I was in there for hours checking the scene out, taking in every last detail. There was so much going on inside that it was quite overwhelming in a really good way. I can’t believe that this was my first time checking this show out. I can tell you that it definitely will not be my last. I will never miss it again.
Here are some of my favorite moments from the show:
THE PATCH CRAZE
THE REPURPOSED VINTAGE
Inspiration overload. Be sure and GO to this show if you can next year in LA.
