I’ve been into merchandising for a very long time and it is something that I have always had a vision for and something that I really love to do. From merchandising retail spaces, to designer ‘s collections as well as merchandising my home, I love to group things together to make a statement. For the past few years I have been very drawn to merchandising things in large collections to make a statement. Sometimes that statement can just be visual and other times it is a sales tactic to show the customer how much you believe in an item or an idea. There is a psychological thing that happens when a person approaches a collection of the same item. Somehow it makes you want one, like you want to be in the club, or a member of something..and buying that one thing will help you get closer to your goal. This thought process is even more powerful when a store or a person that you respect displays an idea in this way. For me, its a done deal..Im in, Im buying..I NEED ONE!!!
Take a look at some of the collections I spotted during my trip to Round Top and Marburger.
