It’s been a busy month! I’ve been working with my friends at More & Co. to develop this new brand identity and website that now showcases both The Sche Report and my portfolio all in the same site. This has been a long time coming, and much overdue, but I am thrilled with how it turned out and excited to share it with you! If you have followed along with me since the beginning 3 years ago, you know that my point of view has changed quite a bit in the past year or so and The Sche Report has become much more of a personal perspective than a typical fashion site. My goal is to inspire you with all of the beautiful and special People, Places, Things and Projects that I encounter in my very blessed life. It inspires me to inspire you and to share the LOVE that I am able to find out there in the world. I hope you enjoy the new look and the journey that I am on and I hope you continue to enjoy seeing the world through my eyes!
Now for more on what I’ve been up to….
I took a trip back to Los Angeles for a bit and discovered some amazing new places and artists that I can’t wait to share with you in the coming weeks. I also made a trip up north to visit my clients, Alex & Lee, at their home studio in The Sea Ranch, California.
We are in the process of putting a book together to tell their story and I brought up a special guest who we are hoping is going to help us figure it all out. One of my favorite things to do when I visit is to root through the thousands of slides of their archives and have an old fashioned slideshow. This time around, we had the slides organized and we were able to look at the work chronologically. The slides below are pictures created of each amazing one of a kind treasure that Alex & Lee made between 1970-1973. As you will see they created a “set” for each piece, as each treasure needed to be surrounded in a different setting to showcase its design. This is one of my favorite things about looking through these slides, I love each tableau and of course the necklaces are something that quite frankly can’t really be described. I’m sure they will blow your mind as much as they always blow mine. Truly one of a kind, I can’t imagine anybody else on the planet being able to recreate these special pieces. Enjoy!
Could you die? And this is just a small selection that I took pictures of..there are thousands more where these came from. Stay tuned for the book!!!
More to share on my journey up north to their studio in posts this week…the amazing new scarves we created to some special and unique stops in the special place that is The Sea Ranch.
