2012 is over and we are officially on Day 3 of 2013! Hopefully you have all had a memorable holiday experience whatever you may have done for the last week.
My holidays were really great and included my mom spending Christmas here in Los Angeles with me. She was weary at first but I promised I would show her all the special things I love about LA. We started off with a great Xmas tree decorating party , then went off to Joshua Tree for a fun weekend of hiking, dancing and shopping. We returned and spent the next few days visiting my favorite restaurants( The Old Place, Pizzaria Mozza and Industriel) and hanging with close friends. The time went fast, as did 2012, and New Years Eve was here before I knew it.
The idea was to create a “mixed bag” of people at a party while also allowing you to be amongst your closest friends. This was genius as it allowed you to ring in the new year with your closest but also be able to meet new interesting folks. The crowd of 100 that was gathered was by far one of the most interesting I’ve been around in awhile and included everybody from stylists, musicians, producers, artists, curators, PR mavens, designers and so much more. Everybody had such a great time together and were in high spirits ringing it in amongst a killer atmosphere that is Corey & Glenn’s home in Los Feliz.
See a snapshot of the night below and try to look past the blur of my camera ( I was a bit wobbly on my Louboutin’s all night)!
It was a super fun night and it’s been a great few days getting back into the swing of things and starting the new year off right.
The goals have been set. The changes are in progress. The intention is out there. All I can do now is move forward positively in pursuit of my dreams with an open heart. And the rest will come. :)
Looking so forward to a whole new year of inspiring people, places and things to experience and share!
HAPPY NEW YEAR FOLKS!!
