There will also be postings of trend alerts as they develop from the runway to the streets and onto the pages of our favorite  fashion editorials. Rag and Bone

Rag and Bone Spring/Summer 2012 Collection

Rag and Bone‘s was one of the first to showcase full on sport inspirations and basically kick started the biggest trend of the season. The positive palette of vibrant hues infused energy into long and loose silhouettes conveying comfort and ease. The active vibe was balanced with wearable and ladylike items such as pencil skirt, cardigans, and bodycon dresses.

The Row

The Row Spring/Summer 2012 Collection

This is the second straight season I’ve picked The Row as one of my favorite and once again the Olsen twins had shown sophisticated and elevated fashion. Serenely designed flowy layers coupled with an austere color palette of cream, beige, mint green and gray adds an airiness to the whole vibe. Anchoring the lightness was memorizing craftiness reminiscing of Celine‘s past few seasons.

Narciso Rodriguez

Narciso Rodriguez Spring/Summer 2012 Collection

Narciso Rodriguez turned up the dial several notches this season. Signature complicated construction was amped up by sexy cut outs and an impalpable palette of icy blue, bright orange anchored with black and white.  Dresses were architectural and looked as if they wereperfectly pieced together and tailored outerwear nicely anchor the asymmetrical lines of the separates and dresses.  The result is part sexy and part intellectual, the perfect combo of a confident modern woman, who most are already Rodriguez’s clients.

Altuzarra

Altuzarra Spring/Summer 2012 Collection

Altuzarra rasied the level again this season with a collection of fresh urban dressing ideas for his loyal fans. Hopping on the Tropical trend, panels of colorful prints were inserted in bodycon leather dresses and a wide variety of outerwear options would make this a popular collection with retailers.

Calvin Klein Collection

Calvin Klein Spring/Summer 2012 Collection

Francisco Costa revisited a Calvin Klein 90s stable – the slip dress, and injected it with the slightest bit of update femininity that is softer and absolutely freshen up the brand in a whole new dimension. The slightest ruffle and curved hems provided the perfect touch to soften up the Calvin Klein women. This soft edgy dressing is one of my favorite trends so far for the season.
