Elie Saab marked what was official the end of “fashion month”. This past Spring 2012 season has brought us beautiful clothes, memorable moments, and not to mention, exciting trends – Sheer Skirts, cut outs, Wallpaper Prints…etc. These trends are already having an immediate impact on the showgoers and inadvertently influencing retailers who will then help shape what you and I will be seeing and wearing next Spring.
As always, following the conclusion of Paris, I take a bit of time to reflect on the past season. In which I compile a list of key trends based on what I saw on the runway, recent retail and fashion developments, and ultimately come up with my seasonal Top 10 trends, trends that I believe to have a deep impact on major editorials and influential retailers.
My job is to make all the information comprehensive and available to you. Whether you are a fashionista looking to start planning ahead or a store buyer in need of a resource to streamline your new season’s buying plan, The Shce Report will be able to point out all the key trends while reporting business and styling advice related to each one.
Although to do all of that in an adequate and accurate manner requires a bit of time. Therefore, The Sche Report will take a brief hiatus alongside the rest of the industry and I will work hard to compile the best list of exciting Spring 2012 trends!
